FAQs Common Concerns & What to Expect
-
Will Terrasil products stain clothing or bedding?
Some of our ointments are rich in natural oils and may leave a temporary mark on fabrics, especially light-colored materials. To help prevent this, allow the ointment to absorb for about 10–15 minutes before contact with clothing, or cover the area with a bandage or gauze. Any marks that do occur will usually wash out with normal laundering.
- Do Terrasil products feel greasy or oily?
Because many Terrasil ointments contain natural oils and moisturizing ingredients, the texture may feel thicker than a lotion. This rich consistency is intentional — it helps the ointment stay in place on the skin. Most customers find that after a short absorption period, it blends in without leaving heavy residue.
- Do Terrasil products have a strong smell?
Terrasil products are free from artificial fragrances, but some formulas contain natural essential oils with a mild, natural scent. If you are sensitive to scents, you may prefer one of our lighter creams, which absorb quickly with very little noticeable aroma.
- Why are Terrasil products more expensive than some other creams?
Terrasil is specially formulated with our patented Activated Minerals technology, combined with high-quality natural ingredients, and manufactured in the USA in an FDA-registered, GMP-compliant facility. This commitment to safety, quality, and effectiveness can make our products cost a bit more than generic alternatives — but it also means you’re choosing a trusted, premium solution.
- Why are the jars and tubes smaller than I expected?
Terrasil products are concentrated, so a little goes a long way. Most customers find that even smaller jars or tubes last longer than expected when applied as directed. For ongoing needs, consider our Subscribe & Save program, which makes it easy to restock automatically at a discounted price.
- What if Terrasil causes stinging or irritation?
While most customers find Terrasil soothing, every skin type is unique. If you experience stinging, redness, or irritation, discontinue use and allow the skin to rest. Mild tingling may occur for some users when first applied, but this usually subsides quickly. If irritation continues, consult your healthcare provider.
