One of the greatest benefits of choosing a natural product above a chemically based product is that, we have carefully chosen ingredients to minimize the risk of irritation and side effects. Aidance products combine ingredients that have been used for thousands of years because of their soothing and healing properties with FDA-listed active ingredients.

We believe that when you recommend a product for people with very sensitive skin, it is important to have confidence in the ingredients being used. Through direct relationships with our suppliers, we can ensure the quality and purity of these components. Additionally, we maintain internal laboratories to test and mix these ingredients together. So, we can safely say that we know exactly what goes into each cream or ointment. There are no parabens, phthalates or artificial scents.

If you have sensitive skin, we advise you to check the ingredient list for the particular product you are interested in and consult with your physician prior to use.

FDA-Listed Active Ingredients Aidance's over-the-counter products contain clinically proven, FDA-listed active ingredients (monographs). Each active ingredient offers targeted relief or treatment for a given skin application.

Homeopathic Products Aidance's homeopathic products (like our homeopathic wart ointment) are registered with the FDA. This includes all ingredients, uses, directions and precautions. To be clear however, the FDA's position on all homeopathic products is: "This homeopathic product has not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration for safety or efficacy. FDA is not aware of scientific evidence to support homeopathy as effective."

GMP Manufacturing & FDA Compliance Aidance follows strict GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) rules. This is a requirement to become a Registered Drug Establishment for the FDA. A Good Manufacturing Practice compliant facility is one in which all processes are clearly defined and controlled so as to ensure product quality and consistency. If any product complaints arise, we promptly investigate all potential causes for a defect and take appropriate measures to prevent reoccurrence. Aidance’s proprietary Activated Minerals, developed through extensive research and laboratory testing (multiple formulation-based patents, issued and pending), feature varying combinations of Zinc Oxide, and Magnesium Oxide. Zinc Oxide and Magnesium Oxide provide tremendous support to the healing process. Zinc Oxide is an astringent and drying element, and is often used to repair moist skin conditions such as wounds and rashes.

Each Aidance skin product contains a targeted product-specific blend of essential oils. These essential oils were chosen for their historical and documented abilities to clean, clear, nourish and repair damaged skin. Essential oils have been used for centuries to correct skin irregularities, counter the effects of infection, deter scarring and encourage skin regeneration.

Beeswax is a natural nutrient-rich wax that is secreted by bees during honey production. This non-allergenic and non-comedogenic substance acts as a long-lasting skin moisturizer, softener and conditioner. It is widely popular for its anti-inflammatory properties, and has been recognized by some health professionals for its antiseptic and protectant qualities. Reportedly, beeswax is able to ward off bacteria, allergens and other environmental toxins. Additionally, beeswax contains vitamin A, which aids in the development of new healthy skin.

Jojoba Oil is derived from the Jojoba plant, a woody shrub that grows in desert regions around the world. Due to its unique healing properties, Jojoba oil has been used to treat a wide range of common skin conditions. It also has a natural ability to discourage the growth of bacteria and fungi. When applied to dry skin, jojoba oil forms a long-lasting moisture seal that continues to soften and restore over time. Jojoba oil also has tremendous anti-inflammatory properties, making it ideal for application to highly irritated areas.

Many of our products may be safe to use, but we strongly encourage reviewing the products and ingredients with the child’s pediatrician before using.

Many Aidance products, including the terrasil family of products may stain fabric, particularly light-colored fabrics. If you cannot cover these ointments with a bandage after application, allow them to absorb into the skin (usually for about 15 minutes) before allowing the affected area to touch clothing, bedding or towels.

These ointments may also temporarily darken skin or nails (where applied) if exposed to prolonged direct sunlight during the period of use. This effect can be avoided by covering the affected area with a bandage or gauze.

terrasil Athlete's Foot Anti-Fungal Ointment MAX's intense relief formulation may leave a dark residue on nails as the ointment clings to - and eliminates - unwanted fungus. Should residue appear, it will clear with new, healthy nail growth to leave your nails free of persistent infection. If you have a typical foot or nail infection or prefer to use our lighter cream, we recommend regular strength.

Femmesil Ultra Therapy ointment may leave an oily mark on clothing or bedding that it comes into contact with. Thus, it is suggested that you wear a panty liner while using Femmesil Ultra Therapy.
