Aidance’s proprietary Activated Minerals, developed through extensive research and laboratory testing (multiple formulation-based patents, issued and pending), features varying combinations of Volcanic Clay (Bentonite), Zinc Oxide, and Magnesium Oxide. Bentonite clay occurs naturally in volcanic ash sediments and contains over a dozen trace minerals. With a negative electric charge, bentonite is able to attract positively-charged toxins away from damaged skin. Once these toxins (germs, dirt, oil, allergens, etc.) are absorbed into the clay, they are destroyed, thus enabling our skin to heal without complication. Zinc Oxide and Magnesium Oxide also provide tremendous support to the healing process. Beeswax is a natural nutrient-rich wax that is secreted by bees during honey production. This non-allergenic and non-comedogenic substance acts as a long-lasting skin moisturizer, softener and conditioner. It is widely popular for its anti-inflammatory properties, and has been recognized by some health professionals for its antiseptic and protectant qualities. Reportedly, beeswax is able to ward off bacteria, allergens and other environmental toxins. Additionally, beeswax contains vitamin A, which aids in the development of new healthy skin.

Vinegar (an ingredient in Pedesil regular strength only) has documented ability to eliminate skin and nail fungus and prevent it from spreading. The acidic environment of vinegar also helps to relieve itching and pain.

Vinegar is also used topically to treat minor cuts, rashes, and flaky skin. Some apply vinegar to skin that stings or burns, such as insect bites, sunburns or highly irritated spots. 

Grapefruit seed extract, also known as citrus seed extract, is a liquid derived from the seeds, pulp, and rind of grapefruit. In laboratory tests, grapefruit seed extract has shown effectiveness against a wide range of fungal and bacterial organisms, and is regularly recommended by nutritionists as natural treatment for fungal foot and nail conditions. It is also suggested as an alternative healing agent for external yeast (candida) infections. This ingredient is used in Pedesil MAX only.
