Bentonite clay occurs naturally in volcanic ash sediments and contains over a dozen trace minerals. With a negative electric charge, bentonite is able to attract positively-charged toxins away from damaged skin. Once these toxins (bacteria, dirt, oil, allergens, etc.) are absorbed into the clay, they are destroyed, thus enabling our skin to heal without complication. Zinc Oxide and Magnesium Oxide also provide tremendous support to the healing process. When applied to dry skin, jojoba oil forms a long-lasting moisture seal that continues to soften and restore over time. Terrasil, Terrasil MAX and Pedesil MAX are dark-gray in color and may stain fabric, particularly light-colored fabrics. If you cannot cover these creams with a bandage after application, allow them to absorb into the skin before covering the affected area with clothing, bedding or towels. These creams may also temporarily darken skin or nail (where applied) if exposed to prolonged direct sunlight during the period of use. This effect can be avoided by covering the affected area with a bandage or gauze.

Pedesil has a thick oily consistency and may leave an oily spot on clothing, bedding and fabrics that they come into contact with. Thus, it is suggested that you allow these creams to absorb into the skin (usually for about 15 minutes) before allowing the area to rub against textiles.

Femmesil and Femmesil MAX contain Jojoba oil, which may leave an oily mark on clothing or bedding that it comes into contact with. Thus, it is suggested that you wear a panty liner while using Femmesil.
